Thomas Arthur White of Halifax, formerly of Whiteside, died at the QE11 VG Hospital in Halifax, Nova Scotia at the age of 79 years. He was a resident of the Northwood Manor for the last 2 years.
Son of the late Ambrose and Catherine (née Carroll) White. Thomas ('Tommy') was a well-known taxi driver for several Metro Halifax Companies over the years; he loved dancing,a good card game and story telling.
Brother of Mary Richard of Lower River, and Gladys (Doug) Bradley of Ontario; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Tommy was predeceased by his brothers, Jerome, Charles, William, Cyril, Eugene and Ambri.
Mass of Christian burial to celebrate the life of Thomas will be held Saturday morning on 20 Dec 2008 in St. Patrick’s Church in Whiteside, Rev. Raj Zackarias officiating.
