McNAMARA, Joseph Theodore "Ted" - 71, Evanston, died Monday, May 28, 2007, in Strait Richmond Hospital in Evanston.
Son of Greg and Cecilia (née Poirier) McNamara, he was a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish, Lower River Inhabitants.
A cook by trade on the CNR for several years, he began working for Stora/Enso in October 1966, retiring in January 1994.
Husband of Sarah (née MacInnis); father of Hughie (Rose) of Martinique; Paul (Gloria) of Evanston; Robert (Debbie) of Port Hawkesbury; Francis of Toronto; grandfather of nine grandchildren; great grandfather of 2 great-grandchildren; brother of Marie Cogswell, Pauline (Lauchie) Proctor, both of Evanston, Raymond (Valerie) of Whiteside, Donnie (Lillian) of Evanston; uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Ted was predeceased by two sisters, Della Proctor, Marguerite in infancy; by one brother, Francis.
Funeral mass was held on Thursday, May 31, in St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church, Father Allan MacPhie officiating.
