PROCTOR, John Frederick, 49, of Evanston, Richmond County, died Wednesday (July 25, 1979) at home.
Son of Basil and the late Rita (née Poirier) Proctor. He was employed with the CNR for 30 years as a welder, and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Maintenance. He was a member of St. Francis de Sales Parish.
Surviving besides his father, are his wife, the former Della McNamara; four daughters, Donna (Mrs. Thomas Richardson) of Lower River Inhabitants, Anne (Mrs. Alfred Boudreau), Linda (Mrs. John Hayes), and Jean; two sons, Bernie and Earl; a sister, Mrs. Bernice Hearn; a brother, Lauchie, all of Evanston; seven grandchildren.
Jack was predeceased by three sons, a daughter, and a brother, Clement Alexander Proctor. Funeral mass was held on Friday, 28 July 1979, in St. Francis de Sales Church, Lower River Inhabitants, Rev. Francis Delahanty officiating.
